CRIIIIC !

Creating for and by childrenTo give free rein to the marvellous of everyday life and to give birth to extraordinary stories straight out of the children's imagination. Their imagination is brought to the forefront and allows for the birth of stories that serve the dramaturgy of the play.

For his first creation young audienceit is the universe of the tale that Brahim Bouchelaghem puts forward. In partnership with the storyteller Emmanuel De Lattre, they reappropriate the stories of children. Thus, unusual characters and an imaginary world are born. A circus, a labyrinth, a video game as many contexts that the children could develop.

Thus, unusual characters and an imaginary world were born. A circus, a labyrinth, a video game as many contexts that the children could develop.

Brahim Bouchelaghem a mis en scène les histoires de ces bouts d’homme : Alhous le tourbillon, Jules le mystérieux, Mams le robot et Mousstik le magicien virtuose.

They are all Bout d'homme, they are all 7 years old and will always be 7 years old, and they are all in search of an identity and a future. Characters who cross paths, rub shoulders, and come to life around the story boxes.

Excerpts from the story:

« Today is his birthday and today Bout d'homme is 7 years old. It is the hundredth time he is 7 years old, and today he is a dancer. The first time he was 7, he was an acrobat. Before the first time, he was a storyteller. And before that, he was a magician. And before before before, he was a robot....aspirator, whirlwind, sulky, mosquito, flash, laughing, star.....

Then listen to the story of those bits of man who remain children from father to son, and who spend their whole life at the age of 7.

Listen and learn how they were born, and how each of them now knows how to grow up well and where the real stars are.

So to find out more, let's dive together, with these Bouts d'Homme, into the trunk of Old Stories: CRIIIIC!"

"And today Bout d'Homme is sulking.

Bout d'Homme sulks.

He doesn't talk anymore, he doesn't move anymore: he sulks. He doesn't want to become a magician.

He doesn't want to become at all, nothing at all. He does not want to become.

Bout d'Homme always wants to be 7 years old and that nothing moves anymore.

Bout d'Homme sulks.

"He discovers himself.

Another Bout d'Homme, one almost the same, one not quite the same.

Un autre bout de vie qui a aussi envie d’être encore mieux que lui.

They meet, discover each other, have fun, tell each other stories and bond.

Face to face, back to back, side by side.

Each one copies on the other, it is by copying that one is buddy.

Another piece of life that also wants to be even better than him."

"So what if they said I was a star and I'm so bright that everyone sees me and I see the whole World.

And Bout d'Homme sees. He sees the whole World. He sees the World and He sees all the Tips of Man and all the stars and he smiles.

Each piece of man is a star, and it is because there are many of them, Pieces of Man 1, 2, 3 and 4, and it is because there are many of them that the World is like a sky of stars that shine at night, and that makes Life light up."
