Born in Gap in 1968, after studying electronics in Aix-en-Provence, he lived in Paris for 5 years as a video technician for TF1.
 After a stint as an assistant director in the cinema (with Georges Lautner), he returned to the Alps and found a job as a cameraman for Mosaïc Production (extreme spotif films, Ice Challenge 1997 for the Walkers of the Earth at the North Pole).

Kader Attou comes from a hip hop background and trained at the circus school of Saint-Priest. He turned to contemporary dance at the end of the 1980s and in 1989 created the Accrorap collective with Mourad Merzouki, Chaouki and Éric Mézino.
