Basée sur des histoires personnelles de femme (intimes ou relatées), ce projet traitera plus précisément du silence de la femme face à l’adversité et à ses souffrances passées sous silence, la force et la détermination de la femme, et enfin son potentiel d’amour et de création. Brahim Bouchelaghem s’inspirera de l’histoire de sa mère en résonnance à sa première pièce autour de son père Zahrbat. « Une expérience émotive complexe qui comprend plusieurs émotions ou plusieurs états du corps dansants ».
Through the eyes of a man and a child, Brahim will visit this sensitive female universe where the theme of silence will be transcribed in movement. The silence suffered by women in the face of their suffering and their hard blow... a silence lived daily, a qualified silence.
A silence of the noises of ordinary life that are replaced by the word of the dance.
The silence which would not be any more a simple absence of word, but the proposal of other languages, of noises of the body, which break their own interiority.
From this silence is also born the anguish, the fear
which provokes gestures to make them disappear...
From this silence is also born love, joy
which provokes gestures to make them appear...
Brahim will address the instinctive strength of the woman, the mother, his mother ... The determination of this woman to defend herself, defend her loved ones, continue to move forward in this quest for happiness. The dance reveals its instinctive strength and regains its mysterious power.
This woman also as a carrier of love.... This feeling that is not an emotion in itself, but a complex emotional experience that includes several emotions or several states of the dancing body. The woman, the one from whom the possibilities are born, is the source of creation and life.
"My source of inspiration comes from reality, from life, from meetings and exchanges..."
In addition to his personal inspiration drawn from his mother, Brahim will endeavor, like a reporter, to go and meet women from his environment: his performers, his relatives, participants in workshops around the creation according to the company's residencies. He will lead his quest based on this immaterial exchange that nourishes the artist. Based on the transmission of ideas and feelings, he will call upon the spirit of creativity emanating from each person.
