For this new piece, he has chosen to bring a group of eight Russian dancers into his poetic universe. Together, they went in search of sensitive expression, of emotion. This creation is the object of an authentic human exchange where life paths and poetic aspirations are mixed.
I am alive, I live, I want to live forever
Even when the cold hits my home
In his face of winter and ice
For one short day...
Then comes the spring
The walks, the parties, the joy
Around in this envelope, a bomb
– Boom-
Dreams are destroyed
For those who understand
Admit it right away, a break...

I can't fall asleep
The rhythm of the sleepless nights sucks me in for a new journey

The choreographer takes the dancers from show to poetry, from pure performance to personal expression. Images of life flash by: from the intoxication of a luminous bottle to the almost mystical preparation of a battle. Behind these experiences, the impression of walking on ice and the need to always get up after a fall. These emotions, enamelled with silence, they learn to transmit them,
parfois avec un simple regard. « Une métamorphose artistique pour ceux qui les connaissent », confie Brahim Bouchelaghem dont le défi est de les aider à tracer le chemin jusqu’à eux mêmes.
Their strength of character and determination took these dancers, the TOP 9, to the international scene of Hip Hop competitions, where they reached the supreme consecration, for a crew of breakers, by winning the Battle of the Year 2008.
Ils ont aujourd’hui choisi d’écrire un nouveau chapitre de leur histoire en découvrant avec Brahim Bouchelaghem, le hip hop d’auteur.
Puisant dans les expériences humaines, Brahim Bouchelaghem a souhaité se confronter au parcours de vies, qu’il déclinera selon trois thèmes : le libre arbitre, le rapport de l’individu au groupe et la construction d’un individu.
Ce sont les trajectoires individuelles, les souvenirs personnels de chacun des TOP 9 qui constitueront la matière, l’argile que Brahim Bouchelaghem a entrepris de modeler. Il interroge avec eux les instants cruciaux des choix passés, qu’ils aient été anodins ou déterminants.
Together, they once again walk the paths that fork, translating human experiences through dance movement and hip hop techniques. They invest the spaces that separate horizontality and verticality in search of their own arc stretched between two deaths.
