Chinatsu Kosakatani

Originally from Japan, she trained at the Yamamouchi Ballet School in Osaka and then at the Stedelijk Institut voor Ballet in Antwerp. She was then hired by the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater (Germany), then by the Danza Prospettiva di Vittorio Biagi company in Rome. When she joined the Ballet du Nord in 1998, she danced the choreographies of Maryse Delente, Jean-Claude Gallotta, Itzik Galili, Ohad Naharin, Jean Guizerix, Rui Horta and Michel Kelemenis.

Under the direction of Carolyn Carlson, she dances Inanna, Down by the river, Full Moon, Water Born, Li, Hidden, Eau, Present memory, Mundus Imaginalis and we were horses. In 2010, she created her first piece Ahimsa and, in 2011, the CCN entrusted her with the creation of a choreography for a territory project dancewindows jazz. She is present in the support program for young talents, "Red Brick #B" with, among others, a third choreography: Something like.

In 2013, she danced for Caterina Sagna in Bal en Chine.
